Funds for our program are partially provided by the County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency, Alcohol and Drug Services. The cost for a bed in our program is $300.00 a month for San Diego County residents, based on the ability to pay. We don't turn anybody away for inability to pay. We also don't accept insurance. We do have several beds for "Privately Admitted Residents" and non-San Diego County residents at a cost of $1500.00 a month, paid up front and non-refundable, for the entire 4 month stay. "PAR" residents come right in to our program, without going onto our waiting list.

Our waiting list is usually 4 to 6 weeks. To be placed on our waiting list, you must be at least 72 hours clean and sober, and must have a clear calendar for the next 120 days, meaning no upcoming legal, medical, or dental appointments. You'll also need a picture I.D. and a Social Security card. You would then have to fill out an application and be interviewed. You can do this 7 days a week, from 9 AM to 3PM, here at the Freedom Ranch, or you can be screened on Mondays from 9 to 12 noon at the north side of El Cajon Transit Center on the corner of Main and Marshall.
