We never turn anybody away based on an inability to pay

Our mission as a non-profit 501(c)(3) is to help as many men as possible achieve sobriety. For residents of San Diego County, our program fee is based on a sliding scale according to income, with partial funding coming from the County. However, due to high demand for treatment, new residents can wait an average of 4 to 6 weeks to join us unless they are privately admitted.

Mixed funding models benefit all residents

Alcoholism and drug addiction will take your job, your family, your money, and even your self-respect. It will then ask for more. Our priority is to admit men who have the best chance of getting and maintaining sobriety. Emphasizing potential for success over a client's ability to pay is key to the high success rate of the Freedom Ranch Program. Being surrounded by a group of like-minded men who want to change their lives is critical to fostering an environment of recovery.
